When I am writing this blog, we are approaching the end of the first quarter of 2023. How time flies?

Chinese Marketing Calendar of Quarter 1, Year 2023
January 2023
As many other cultures on earth, Chinese also celebrate January 1st as the start of a year, although this day is not as important as the Chinese New Year’s Day.
The real new year celebration starts from 21 January 2023. This day is Chinese New Year’s Eve (除夕 in Chinese) and marks the start of the Rabbit’s year.
February 2023
In February, Chinese people are still in holiday mode, as Chinese New Year is a 7 to 15 days (about 2 weeks) of celebration in a row, and there are different ceremonial activities on each of these days.
To many Chinese that live in remote or rural areas, the celebration won’t stop until the Lantern Festival, which is the 15th day of the new year according to the Chinese Calendar.
March 2023
In March, Chinese people welcome International Women’s Day. Often on this day, women employees can take half a day off and receive a small gift from their employers.

Unlike us, lots of countries are entering spring in the other sphere.
As weather continues to warm up and days become longer, people are more likely to go out and more holidays are upcoming in April, May and June in China.
